This traditional little design is stitched on non-evenweave linen in stranded cottons (floss).
Evenweave fabric means that there are the same number of fabric threads across the weft and the warp. This project is stitched on a piece of Non-Evenweave vintage linen fabric and the thread count varies, which gives a really antique feel to the completed project. Worked from a black & white chart, the design grows quickly and every version looks slightly different due to the fabric differences. We're sure you'll enjoy this sampler from Jane's Counted Thread Collection. Absolutely Charming!
