Bright Red Cardinal on Holly Berry Branch Applique Kit Beginner

An interesting story surrounds the cardinal. It's become a symbol of Christmas to some because his bright red feathers are thought by some to represent the blood of Jesus.  This simple applique design shows off the pretty little bird in all his glory, right down to his dark face and yellow beak.
