French artist/illustrationist Erle Ferroniere's beautiful fantasy artwork is simply charming. The Buttons War ( Guerre des Boutons)has been beautifully translated for the experienced cross stitch artist by Annaick Chauvel in this endearing design. You'll work  with pre-sorted DMC flosses on 32 ct linen to create this delightful design  of three fierce elves in their war armor comprised of buttons, a hat in, bobby pins, thimbles and needles, which is based on her 1997 illustrated book "Halloween".
