Born in Pennsylvania in 1948, Keith studied painting at the Art Students’ League and Hunter College in New York City and LA Valley College in Los Angeles. He says that for him, painting is a spiritual journey which started in childhood and continues to this day. His subject matter ranges from still lifes to abstracts. In recent years he has devoted his talents to themes that portray the beauty and strength of the African American experience. Keith has worked in many venues with his artistry~ painter, etcher and ceramic artist, and we are pleased and proud to present a very difficult to find reproduction of his original work Precious Love for the Needlepoint artist.
This tender portrayal of family unity is perfect whether you are interested in Black American art, collect family themed needlework, or just need something that will add beauty to your classic decor. Perfect in contemporary settings , or as an addition to a folk art grouping. Mr. Mallett has chosen a group of understated tones in the wools for his reproduction to help you stitch a design which will become a cherished family heirloom for generations to come. Truly a wonderful find~ add it to your own collection, or that of someone special~ makes a great Christmas , Kwanzaa, graduation, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, or any old I love you day gift!
