 Ohio artist Diane Arthurs began her career in fashion and advertising and gradually moved toward designing counted cross stitch patterns in the 1990’s. Her advertising background can be seen in the clean lines and elegant arrangements in her needlework designs, like this lovely counted cross stitch design which simple rustic scene of a bright red cardinal on a pepper berry wreath which is adorned with a tiny birdhouse.
