This exceptional and rare countryside covered bridge design by Eunice Beam is for a needlepoint artist who enjoys working a double mesh canvas and counted needlepoint. A Golden Afternoon is a rare vintage circa 1980's kit which was opened by the original owner and not worked. We procured this fabulous estate sale find and quickly repackaged in shrink wrap to keep the interior in it's wonderful condition~ there's just a little wear on the chart from being kept out~which is why this exceptional find is priced well below appraised retail value~ the wools and canvas are pristine! Featuring a young boy happily fishing along a riverbank on a beautiful autumn day, a flock of geese fly over heard just past the beautiful covered bridge. Worked in a variety of gros point and petit point stitches, the experienced needlepointer will enjoy the challenges and joy of working this incredible find to create a treasure that will last a lifetime.
