Three quiet butterflies try to blend into the background in this design for the needlepoint enthusiast, but of course there is no hiding their true beauty.  Each butterfly’s wings are a combination of brown, tan, blue and white, but each is just a little bit different from the others.  The background is an interesting pattern done of several different stitches in "openwork" needlepoint  (Part of the canvas shows for a light, airy feel) in the same shades of blue and brown, for an overall calm and relaxing appearance.
