Rare Erin Dertner Winter Holiday House Needlepoint Kit

This wonderful piece brings back some of our own childhood memories of great-grandmother’s house in the winter time- we remember a visit just before Christmas holiday season- we tromped in to take gramma some dishes from our recent Thanksgiving feast. Everything clean and tidy, and gramma was in the kitchen making homemade soup- Sent out to play in the snow, we children swung on the gate and played hide and seek in the snow covered pines- building a snowman in the corner behind the berry laden tree. There were so many birds chattering after us and flying around it felt like magic! When we were called in for lunchtime, we carefully hung our mittens on the mitten tree near the fireplace, and put our boots on the hearth so they would get warm again.
