Jean Farish is best known for her samplers and amazingly detailed designs for counted cross stitch, like this glorious bit of Americana that has a small square for each of the fifty states and proudly proclaims “America – Land That We Love.” Stitched in cotton floss on 14-count Aida fabric, this large project has tiny pictures within each square to represent each state. There are also two additional squares for personalization with the name of the stitcher and the date of completion.
