Truly a Renaissance woman, Diantha Fielding did so much in the creative world during her career! Not only did this California designer create a lively illustrative approach to her artistic style , her designs for the stitcher won much international recognition through the years. She also enjoyed a career as animated film producer (including multiple awards at the International Film Festival), and this well rounded woman even co-authored an authoritative book on Felt Applique. So much talent! We're pleased and proud to have a limited number of designs in stock for the crewel embroidery enthusiast from this artistic genius! *We've replaced packaging on these pieces to ensure they remain in clean and ready to work condition.
 
This is Maize, one of her most famous designs which gives movement and the appearance of a ballet slipper in a simple rustic multi-color corn cob; worked on cotton homespun fabric in simple and effective stitches.
