A Country Farmer's Wife is busily working in her kitchen. This piece is done in traditional blackwork embroidery with a contemporary twist. This nostalgic design which features geometric designs stitched in six strand cotton floss on 100% cotton fabric and also employs shimmering gold threads.  It is a perfect combination of art and history that uses a 15th century needlework technique to recreate a quaint country kitchen from a bygone era.
