Carol and Don Henning's gorgeous designs for the crewel embroidery enthusiast are hard to find, and high in demand. In this particular piece, they shared a little to give us a glimpse of what they were thinking when they created this beauty. "Here's a familiar barnyard scene with the ever-present tree stumpand axe. There was a lot of firewood to chop, and now and then a chickenmet it's fate for Sunday dinner or turkey for a holiday. The chopping block was basic. For that matter so was the cat!" You'll work this countryside design on a poly/cotton fabric, in Persian Acrylic yarns.
