Lacemaking is a gentle art, which is often seen as intimidating and hard to do. In the late 1960's one manufacturer came out with home kits for the needle artist to try their hands at making Brussels lace, which is worked with needles. We are so pleased and proud to present a limited selection of the kits for our clientele. A truly wonderful way to try out a craft which can give exquisite results, these kits are often requested, and hard to keep in stock.
 
You'll work with a pattern design to assist you in creating the doilies shown here. The kits contain everything you need to complete the doily set; you'll supply your own basic sewing needles.
*Note; the manufacturer photo shows a pitcher on the center doily, and a glass on the doily on the left. We've tried to color the glass items for you slightly to help visually. Glasswear not included.
 
Finished Doily Size: 1 doily 8" (19 cm) and 6 doilies 4" ( 10 cm)  diameter
Kit contains: Instruction booklet, pattern, ivory braid and cotton yarn, tacking yarn. Made in Belgium.
