Danish artist Julius Exner's handsome  masterpiece is well known the world over; an academy member, Exner paintings were of the middle class and rural folk living their lives. 
This artwork is based on the original 1887 painting " Presentation en kender", or Presentation for a Connoisseur". A young barefoot boy plays a beautiful song on his violin, while the master sits listening carefully, and enthusiastic mother stands nearby.
