Rare O’Kelly 17th Century English Repro Tabletop Embroidery Kit

This Kit, inspired by a piece of Seventeenth century English embroidery, uses the muted colors of the old stitchery. It is a sampler of nineteen embroidery stitches. The right size to go, under glass, on the top of our tiny stitchery display table, it could also be used as a picture on the wall, as the top of a jewelry box (as the original was), or in any number of other ways. The project requires interest but no embroidery experience of expertise. It is one of those works of art in which irregularities lend charm.

Kit Contains: Calahari pure linen with design silk screened in 5 colors. Edges are taped. Specially bleached braid. 26 skeins of DMC embroidery floss (24 colors). Gold and silver metallic thread, Ecru thread, pearly beads, black beads, lace, embroidery hoop, Fairfield bonded batting, 4 embroidery needles, sewing needle, complete instructions including diagrams of all stitches.
