Fine details, a plethora of stitches, and a small piece of history are just part of the reasons we love this long out of production design for the crewel embroidery enthusiast. Originally a small detail on a large French  hanging which was sold by one of Europes Decorative Needlework Societies to the Metropolitan Museum as part of the 1944 Roger's fund, this lovely adaptation was designed for today's stitchers by Susan Siegler for Mazaltov's. This Louis Quinze ( XV)  floral design is simply stunning  look closely, the details are lovely!   You'll work this historic piece on a linen twill almost identical to the original in beautiful Paternayan Persian wools. Simply Wonderful!
