Teresa Wentzler herself said of this series of designs for the counted cross stitch enthusiast: "I have always been captivated by carousel horses, especially those carved in the highly realistic manner known as the "Philadelphia" style. The challenge for me was to capture that "frozen" movement in a series of detailed carousel horses, each representing a season of the year."
