The handpainted flowers and leaves are worked in an unusual combination of Long nd Short stitches using crewel wool on 18" square #13 mono canvas with a traditional basketweave background. It's a good piece to hold up as an example of what unusual effects can be done in needlework." Suitable for the experienced stitcher, this is an imaginative marriage of crewel embroidery and needlepoint canvas work. Your finished design will be a piece you'll be proud to display for a lifetime! This long out of production design arrived in overly shopworn packaging which has been replaced to keep piece clean and ready to work.The blue and white delft theme is timelessly popular, and suits a variety of decor.
