Born in Chicopee Falls Massachusetts, USA , world renowned artist Lillian Delavoryas' artwork spans more than 7 decades,and encompasses a myriad of subjects ranging from floral and landscapes to nudes, woodblock printing and calligraphy. She's studied in Japan and traveled extensively throughout Southeast Asia, Indian, Greece and Paris. A much commissioned and awarded artist, she has also lectured on watercolor and Design at colleges of art in Britain, and has many published articles in both the USA & Britain.
 
 We're so pleased and proud to be able to present these long out of production Persian nobility portraits which have been reproduced for the needlepoint enthusiast. Part of a two part series from the early 1970's, we have both Prince and Princess available for you to complete your collection. Worked in 100% wool tapestry yarns, the intermediate needle artist can comfortably complete the Basketweave, Continental, Gobelin and Scottish stitch variations used. The bolded charted ( counted needlepoint)  borders around these large, impressive designs on #13 mono canvas add to their exotic beauty.  your finished artwork will be a masterpiece you'll be proud to have displayed for a lifetime.
