Erica Wilson's beautiful vintage circa 1977 Calendar sampler for the crewel embroidery enthusiast is a perfect addition to any home. "Bless this house...Each brick and rafter may it be filled with peace and laughter"  is the sentiment which surrounds the bright and cheery little country cottage. The sentiment is worked in stamped cross stitch for accuracy, and the little cottage home on the edge of the woods "just over the footbridge" is worked in simple crewel stitches. Below is calendar for the year 1977; a perfect backdrop for any kitchen which is decorated with those fabulous vintage calendar towels. Don't want the calendar but love the sampler?
