Winterthur beautifully adapted this design from 17th and early 18th century crewel and silk bed hangings. This piece is the Hunter and His Dogs; these hunting dogs merrily chase a hare as the hunter blows his horn in this traditional English pastoral design. Fanciful flowers set on a background of rolling hills and dales round out this design with a Jacobean feel. Long out of production, and part 1 of a 2 piece series, you'll work only with the very finest components to create this piece which will become an instant heirloom. Produced exclusively for Winterthur Museum and Gardens, Delaware.
