Originally created by the famous American needlewoman Louise Chrimes, this beautiful petite piece was designed to be a telephone book cover in the days of long ago when phone books were small. It was also used as the beginners project at the Elsa Williams school of Needlework in West Townsend, Massachusetts. It provides a very pleasant experience to learn twelve embroidery stitches while making a valuable small piece of needlework! This listing is for the hard to find beauty 00416; a re- release of the original design.
